Just admit it was a crass statement and move on. BTW... AA is not the correct term unless you personally know the child (they are on you own son's football team so you should know them, but somehow I doubt you do). They may be Nigerian or Dominican or from England, so black is the term, not AA. Just like you don't call all Asian kids Chinese, unless of course they are Chinese. Just stick with Black.

We probably know each other, I am just saying you need to be a little more 2014 than 1985.
