I grew up in a house with an attached 2-car garage, so I know what it's like to have one. My first house was in the city, no garage or off-street parking. Since I rarely missed having a garage I never even thought about it when we we purchased our second home. The house we bought does have a small 1940s attached garage. We could fit one of our cars in it, but we use it as a shed/bike storage instead and continue to park (legally) on the street, LOL. Funny this question comes up today: this morning as I was dashing through the deluge to the car, I thought for the first time in the 5 years we've owned this house: "This is one of those times when it would be nice to be parked in the garage." Totally non-factor for me.[/quote]
