[/b]Sorry.[/quote] +1. They did not know what they were getting into and did not want to stand in the way of your "once-in-a-lifetime" trip. The experience has strained their marriage. They will probably never offer to babysit again. Next time you take a trip without the kids, make sure the adults caring for them live in the home and there is someone there full-time who does not have to juggle the demands of a full-time job in case a kid is up all night/gets sick/other unforeseen timesuck. Your set-up would have worked if the kids were perfect (no accidents, no teething, etc). [/quote]
