i'm like the above PP. If I took the time to count, it would be somewhere between 30 and 40 (and I guess it would depend on how you want to define 'sleep with'). But didn't get married until my late 30s, and dated a lot between 21 and 35, so that's 14 prime years. I definitely had issues with relationships and commitment, but once I discovered how good and lovely sex could be, in my 20s, I didn't feel a great compunction to wait for a ring or anything more than the requisite 3 dates if I wanted to sleep with someone. I was usually pretty cleared eyed as well about the context for each relationship, though in retrospect I think I ascribed less meaning to sex than some of my partners and that led to hurt feelings at times.

Never had an abortion. Never slept with a married man (until I married mine!).  Had only one one night stand and felt like shit afterwards. Slept with one woman, which was interesting, but confirmed my strong heterosexual orientation.  Do I regret some of those? yeah, in the sense that "wow, that was dumb/boring/worthless" but not "omg what a horrible person I am/what a horrible, life altering decision I made." [/quote]
