If you agree that police profile, intimidate, and harass people with certain kinds of characteristics (white bikers, white people who live in trailer parks, Italian-Americans), why is it such a stretch to acknowledge that police also profile, intimidate and harass people with other kinds of characteristics (black people, Latino people)?[/quote]
