Whoa, this thread is crazy. You know, don't we all send our kids to private school and pay the tuition because we want them to be around positive peers who want to work hard and love their school? Each of us picked a school we are hopefully happy with and wanted to stay away from public schools that label smart achieving kids, nerds. Yet here is a mom or a bunch of moms that have their panties in a bunch because there are some people posting positive comments about a school. Really? You seem like the bullies and Debbie downers we want to keep away from our kids in the first place. This is an anonymous forum with a million different types of posts. Seriously, it means nothing. Seems like a total waste to bash something like this.
I can see your 'total waste to bash something like this' comment, but I really hate when people throw around the term "bullying" so casually -- it starts to rob that word and term of its real meaning. This is an anonymous board, and people are ripping or satirizing or criticizing the original post -- none of that is "bullying."
She doesn't say anyone here is a bully. It is an anology of the bullies we want to keep our kids away from. It is a good point.
Saying to critical posters "you seem like the bullies . . . we want to keep away from our kids" does not "seem like" an analogy -- it "seems like" the poster was calling other people bullies! LOL. Imagine this "you seem like a liar" "you seem like a thief" "you seem like an alcoholic" -- are any of those analogies? :)
