The article was updated since I first posted. The current article (which also may eventually be updated), says this (which you appear to have edited):

"As of 3:45 p.m., no arrests have been made and George Zimmerman is 'no longer in investigative detention'.

So, Zimmerman was being held at one point.

My vote is "questioned" and "held" are equals...detained is a step beyond.

Most here will probably admit they'd hoped he was being detained, but 'held' and 'questioned' really don't have much sunlight between then.[/quote]

Okay, just so we are clear. You are not concerned about domestic disputes involving guns. I assume that if your husband threatens you with a gun, you will just smile and thank him for showing how much he loves you?
