Do NOT let me find out about your affair or marital problems. And PUHLEEZE do NOT be someone on here posting in that other forum for hookups. I'm not the PP you're responding to, but go right ahead and report to my boss.  No one's perfect, we all have our stuff.  But unless you're reporting because you seriously think my personal life is an issue for the work or shows poor judgement as it relates to the work,  you'll  look dumber than me.  But I still support ypu in doing what you believe is morally right.[/quote]

After reading this thread I've come to the conclusion that what we do in our personal lives does reflect judgement. And our judgement should be considered in the workplace.

So, your affair shows untrustworthiness, dishonesty, and a propensity for betrayal--all the things employers should be aware of. Frankly, if a person can't be trusted to be honest with his/her spouse, I wouldn't be able to trust him to be honest with me as a patron. So I would NOT frequent that person's business.

Speeding shows a reckless person with no regard for the safety and lives of others. I wouldn't want to do business with a person of such poor judgement.

Don't even get me started on a person with financial difficulties. The poor judgement shown there.

I am going to begin reporting people to their bosses-no matter how long ago the 'transgression' it is my duty to protect everyone from immoral people with a lack of judgement.

I'm one of the posters not okay with erotic teachers. I'm also not okay with the examples above. I wouldn't want to be around people who are sloppy, and untrustworthy in their lives and don't want that example around their kids. However, we can't decide who we're around and have to learn to deal with all sorts of miscreants in the real world. C'est la vie! What I try to do is steer as clear from sketchy people as I can and protect my kids with my every fiber. They know there are evil crazy people in the world, but they also know that mom will protect them to the extent possible and they have to use their own good judgment which is learned over time. And, certainly, if I find a questionable adult influencing kids I have no qualms about reporting them. Same as I would tell the spouse of a cheater, or call the cops if someone was speeding and driving reckless on the road, or someone stealing/extorting because of their financial difficulties. As for you, PP. I'm sure you wouldn't do any of the above. Just remember, there's no honor among thieves.[/quote]
