The trans folk I know are incredibly educated, sensitive, thoughtful people (something about this condition engenders a lot of introspection and contemplation, wow, imagine that!). In my experience, most trans people have NO interest in advertising or highlighting their original physical gender, they are all about changing their appearance to their true internal gender. The idea of a trans woman flashing her pre-op male genitals in a locker room runs counter to absolutely everything I know about transgendered folks. I mean, it is laughable, actually.

Re this story -  I am willing to bet that she didn't display her private parts. Think about it. The spa owners would have claimed that fact, it would have made their story oh-so-much more compelling. And the press would have highlighted that fact, it would have made their story oh-so-much more interesting.
