Batch cooking is a very common strategy for busy families. But my parents frequently visit at busy times, we try to serve food they like, sometimes it's cooked ahead or we cook the first day and eat leftovers later...they don't complain. We are also happy to eat down their fridge when we visit. We're all great cooks![/quote]
