Because ECNL dangles carrots of colleges at their NC Showcase - sat - mon.  Madison's GK plays for Bethesda and chose to go NC versus play in their regional final. Little do they know NO ONE show up on the third day of any showcase. But maybe she's close to her recruitment window and felt the pressure to play half a game on Monday at 3pm. A hypothetical situation where a starting GK bailed on his high school team for a tournament game, leading to knocking them out of the tournament. Sorry, there is NO WAY his teammates are "grateful he played when he could". What nonsense. They are pissed at him for letting their team down for his own selfish reasons and I hope the coach considers that when choosing the team next year.[/quote]
