You can certainly thank Obama for allowing the manned space program to shrivel up. Constellation, and the origination of the return to the moon, came under Bush in 2005. The Obama administration killed Constellation, which was admittedly on a bad path, but somehow managed to replace it with something worse. Artemis came along under Trump, largely doubling-down on that path.[/quote]

Artemis is just a rebranding of the existing Obama-era manned spaceflight program. Again, it's a substantial step backward, converting reusable components into single use. Just a way to literally burn money. [/quote]
