Why do we need all these people?[/quote] Well this thread has gone off the rails...[/quote] It went off the rails because folks like to pretend we don't need people to have children, therefore it makes sense to make it impossible to afford to have kids (e.g. by acting like sending a baby to a licensed daycare is tantamount to child neglect). AI is not going to replace everyone. AI is not going to change your diaper in your nursing home. Maybe one day robots will, but my guess is that is many decades away, long after I have passed on.[/quote]
