For transparency, I do not have first hand experience with either school but feel my second hand experience is worth noting. I am involved with a private area high school that has accepted students from both Lowell and SSFS MS. My experience is that the students from SSFS are more emotionally mature and have much better executive functioning skills and are more independent. Now, to be fair, the Lowell kids will grow but this is what I have seen so far in 9th grade for the past few years.[/quote]
