[/quote]Like I said, you continue to obfuscate the issue by choosing to ignore the suicides, accidental shootings, mass purposeful shootings and the fact that owning a gun makes you as a  gun owner more vulnerable to death and disfigurement than any criminal that might invade your home might. Your comment is extremely obnoxious for lack of a better word because the implication is that as long as me and mine don't get hurt, why should I give a shit about some kids I don't know getting shot. That's what you don't understand about compassionate human beings-we care about OTHERS, not just ourselves. Don't you think Nancy Lanza considered herself a responsible gun owner? Just like you do? We are trying to reduce the mathematical possibilites of someone being killed by a gun to as little as one less than in the past. What don't you get about that? [/quote]
