The 'both sides' and 'Dems support Iran" trolls are so pathetic.
It is and they do, and your refusal to open your eyes to reality is what is pathetic. The two parties have aligned themselves against the interests of the average American. Their differences lie only in their rhetoric and methodology. The democrats get nothing of substance done to help us and republicans actively hurt us. But please understand, they both ultimate service corporate and wealthy interests.
Dems tried to get health insurance for millions of people; Rs blocked it. I'm a former R, and IMO, Dems are less of a threat to the American people and our democracy compared to today's Rs.
The Dems are feckless because the only time they're ever seen as an alternative is not based on what they actually get done, but by the Reps being an absolute catastrophe. One of the most popular Dems who ACTUALLY wants to work for America is Mamdani (within weeks, free childcare) and the establishment Dems tried to destroy him (because he refused to stick his head up Isr's ass) and they tried to get a literal sexual predator who used bigotry as his campaign platform and killed the elderly in nursing homes, because they prioritize ISRAEL. "Vote blue no matter who...unless they call out the genocidal foreign monsters we actually serve." Until Schumer and Jefferies are thrown the hell out of leadership, the Dems will remain unpopular. They are evil and they do not serve America. Chuck tells you himself w/o shame. It is progressive candidates at the local level who are getting votes. Maine is a perfect example of how destructive establishment Dems are. They back the AIPAC candidate. If you don't serve Isr, establishment Dems try to destroy your campaign. That is the one issue that determines if you will actually work for Americans and establishment Dems are traitors who do not. Republicans will get there when the older ones die off, because the younger ones don't want to listen to Ted Cruz sound like Chuck Schumer telling everyone who he actually serves. I mean the nerve to say it out loud.
They tried to "destroy" Mamdani, yet he magically overcame all this pressure from both parties and soared to the top. There is no way they wouldn't have succeeded if they really dreaded his presence in the Gracie Mansion. How woefully naive. His political stance regarding Middle East is irrelevant on the large scale as he has no power on the international arena anyway. And he has been buddying up to Trump on multiple occasions, he never stood up to him.
Trump is a useful idiot. It’s his entire reason to exist. Why is Mamdani not allowed to also leverage same tool as everyone else? Jesus, Trump even even tried to dress like him the next day! He dog walked Trump.
So is your "saint" Mamdani  He was selected to sell extra taxation to the gullible masses while quelling the distress by pandering to the anti-Israel sentiment. Like someone correctly pointed out, it's not his job to fix things for the Dems on the global arena.. it's all theater. He didn't win "despite" Dems pushing another sh*t candidate (it was pretty clear to anyone with half a brain how unpopular Cuomo was in NYC). He was promoted to promise a bunch of unrealistic BS to the gullibles and have them also like him for his anti-Israel stance, then pivot towards raising taxes and distressing NYC RE to force more discount sales and get funding for the public-private partnerships (connected developer cronies). Also secure government funding for "affordable housing" construction at a price of luxury condos. I am not going to be shocked if Trump's RE investor fam has a hand in this even if indirectly. The only person being "dog walked" here is you, the taxpayer
Hon, Mamdani has been mayor for less than 3 months and already got free childcare. I'm a NYer. Are you? I find the most psychotically-obsessed loons who hate Mamdani are not even in NY STATE, let alone NYC. My favorites, are the psychos in other countries like Australia. Sky News over there is obsessed w/ Mamdani. Who in the hell thinks that's normal??? I can't even name the mayor of like Brisbane, let alone give a damn about them.
How is your free childcare, tell me more.. I had experienced their free Pre-K and it sucked. It relied heavily on parent volunteers on daily basis. I lived in NYC for 2 decades and have family/friends there, I go there all the time. Would you like me to provide examples of some of these public private partnership development projects that tend to cost awfully a lot to the taxpayer... given it's supposed to be basic "affordable" housing. developers get tax abatements and discounts on loans, land/infrastructure (covered by public funds if NYCHA redevelopments). They invest their own money, but there is also hefty help from the taxpayer (because "affordable units" will be included). Taxpayers who cannot afford these market rate units or cannot qualify for housing lottery foot the bill supporting the profits of the private companies and the well being of those on perpetual dole. He is continuing the policies of the previous mayor Adams with respect to some of these controversial developments where it's costly to the taxpayer and profitable for the developer. In addition he is asking for a whooping 21 billion in federal funding for the "affordable housing" in Queens for just 12,000 units. Even if infrastructure redevelopment takes half of this amount or more, it's still more per "affordable" unit than what one would pay for a decent 1 bedr in Manhattan. Are we building luxury housing for the poor at Federal taxpayer expense or are we making some connected developers very rich? Also, how do you think he is going to pay for "free" anything? Raising taxes. A lot of controversial proposals already in the works. But this is beyond this thread's topic. Back on topic: There is no Batman coming to save you. Good Democrats aren't going fix the world if Trump goes away. They are as corrupt. It's hopium.
so what's your solution? who are your leaders?
