I love Mexico and this is the first year we aren't going at Spring Break. We go to beach towns north of PV, Oaxaca, Tulum, Merida and my dd did her senior trip to San Miguel de Allende with her group of friends last summer. I'm honestly glad we don't have a trip planned this year but I'm sure they will be back to normal soon. I've never felt unsafe there honestly. We mostly stay in cities, towns or on the beach. I totally agree. Mexico is one of my favorite places and we travel there frequently. We have never had any problems. I am so sad for all of the Mexican people who will lose wages because people are canceling trips (not that I disagree with canceling right now). I understand that some people may feel uncomfortable or unsafe, but I have been there upwards of 25 times and it is a beautiful country. I hope that this situation is resolved quickly. [/quote]
