No, the better schools do not do direct admit because they do t have to and because they want to deject from a more mature student body = a better reputation. Google why top tier business schools do not auto-admit and you will read: “Top-tier business schools do not use automatic admission because their admissions process is based on a holistic evaluation of a candidate's potential to succeed and contribute to the school's reputation, rather than just academic metrics. Because these institutions are highly selective, with demand far exceeding the limited spots available, they rely on a rigorous, selective process to build a diverse, high-performing cohort.
