He’s a complete animal and a fool. The fact that his solution is to GUT the Wootton community IS OBSCENE. [b]The other fact is that he is obsessed with balancing farms rates, and English instruction rates out of a desperate attempt for equity. [/b]The truth is,
The Wootton cluster is incredibly diverse and accurately reflects our communities. Asians in general are less likely to seek out farms and other assistance, it doesn’t mean that the community is wealthy. We’ve all worked hard to buy homes in this cluster and do not want to be lumped together with the kids from the Gaithersburg side not because they are bad, but because they are not the same community and do not reflect our values!!! there’s a level of parental involvement in Care that is evident in this Wootton community that cannot be seen in its counterpart on the other side.

He doesn't seem "obsessed" with equity at all to me. He initially proposed increasing class sizes for the youngest and poorest students. He is proposing having two high schools that are 1 mile apart with one having more than twice the FARMS rate of the other (WJ and Woodward)

In neither the Crown nor the Wootton boundary recommendations do FARMS rates change significantly and in many cases FARMS rates for high FARMS schools increase (e.g. Northwest).

Essentially “mistakes were made” without identifying who made them and what he plans to do to ensure they don’t happen again[/b]. Furthermore, he chose the most disruptive solution instead of using it as a holding school for a few years and gather community feedback. [/quote]
