Got the same email at our agency, if you have minimal orderly shutdown activities + an ad hoc agreement, you can do them at home. So say you log on and do shutdown stuff from 8 am to 10 am. Trump signs the thing at 11 am - are you back at work at 11 am or is it always next day? Or would he not sign that early bc the House vote would be on Monday so it's not getting to him until the afternoon?[/quote]

So was true when I posted Friday. Now (Sat night): C-SPAN: The ongoing government shutdown will continue until at least Tuesday. House Rules Committee just added a 4PM meeting on Monday to approve the government funding bill the Senate revised. Full US House is expected to vote on the rule Tuesday and if approved, vote on reopening the government.

So reopen would now be Wed.[/quote]
