The bad behavior isn't limited to new January people, but surely you can empathize that a massive surge of people can be annoying? Etiquette applies to all people. Everyone could benefit from a lot of comments in this thread, including gym regulars. I'm in my mid-40s, and routinely turn heads. But it's probably because I've been doing this for a long time, and I also have a decent attitude - thanks to having a healthy outlet for stress, frustration, anger, and other normal life stuff.
