It should really just be one 5-6 year highly focused program (no waste-time electives), sit for various tests to weed out, apply to residency and take boards. We can easily shave two years off MD/DO training and save a sh#tload of money. If you wash out on tests during your education, you go into the nursing track. [/quote]
