that is what most Republicans (and Democrats) thought 50+ years ago, but today, most Republicans are happy for normal, monogamous gay people to be out of the closet having relationships or marriages with their same sex partners.  But mentally stable people, gay and straight, are turned off by the crazy stuff in that article.  [/quote]

Wrong again. The Supreme Court is hearing arguments to legalize conversion therapy. [b]Many, many , many republicans are closeted gay men married to women.[/b]

Republicans in many states are legalizing child marriage.

Two consenting adults marrying is not “crazy stuff”. A straight conservative woman marrying a closeted gay man is not consenting to that she is being lied to
