Also to add: in our experience Arl futsal does not bring in external players, we have seen a few try out but haven’t seen one yet get in. Arl’s top teams have to try out for “elite” just like everyone else, though usually it ends up being mostly players from the top and sometimes 2nd team.

But anyway that is all moot now b/c there’s no more elite program, leaving only the FTF program which as others have said is not at all that serious.

Alexandria brings in external players who can keep up with the level (and they have many teams so many levels). Futsal teams at Arlington are an afterthought and not competitive.  And arguably, neither of these are club neutral.[/quote]

Arlington futsal’s “elite” teams are definitely competitive (top team players try out and often don’t make it), but their “regular” teams are not. I think they got rid of the “elite” teams this coming season though.[/quote][/quote]
