We get you would vote against legislation prohibiting colleges from making ridiculous -sized waitlists. Not everyone is as good a parent as you are, apparently, and kids are kids — and some will suffer from the delusion of hope. End suffering. It costs nobody anything. [/quote]

Yup, just like the 1550+/4.965748372 W and 10+ AP kids who apply to nothing but T25 schools and one in the 25-40 range should not suffer.  They are smart and deserve a top notch school, so the 25-40 school was their safety and half the others were targets because "they are so smart". Same delusion of hope and no dose of reality until April hits and they are scrambling for an acceptance
