Sure thing….Might want to ask yourself why the top SLACs have higher acceptance rates to med school, law schools, top grad programs, IB, MBB, etc. than virtually any schools outside of HYPSM. [/quote]

I'm not doubting that these colleges produce graduates who go on to attend prestigious grad schools and do okay in life. That's not my point. My point is that if you're a prestige whore and are interested in impressing people, don't go to Williams. Maybe Amherst is better because people might think it's UMass. Bowdoin? 99% of people can't even pronounce it. The Ivies, Duke, Standford, MIT--people know you're smart. Williams? People nod their head but have no idea that it's a decent school (which it most certainly is). [/quote]
