I hope that he sues over the loss of his job.
That would be awesome. He’s on video tape assaulting a federal officer.
Multiple current senior officials from DOJ were at January 6th. None of this matters anymore. Law enforcement are suckers, they got rolled by Trump.
+1 seriously You can break into the Capitol, attack cops, and work for the WH, but you can't throw a sandwich at a fed and keep your job as a fed. WTF
You can even sit idly by for hours while minions you sent to the Capital threaten to kill the VP, bust out windows, chase after fleeing members of Congress, and even engage in combat with law enforcement, and then be elected President — but one person tossing a sandwich at an officer’s bulletproof vest from 2 feet away is a bridge too far for these people. MAGA can’t be taken seriously.
These are totally seperate issues why do people think they are the same? If the next democrat president wants to pardon this person thats on them.
1. These aren’t separate issues. Trump is the common thread. He incited a riot and then did nothing for hours to quell widespread violence at the Capital, but faced no consequences for it. In fact, he got reelected. He pardoned people who violently attacked law enforcement on his behalf, but now that he’s had a massive law enforcement presence blanket DC, a man has been arrested, fired and had his house raided and damaged all because he tossed a sandwich at an officer in protective gear before running away. 2. No Democratic president will even have to ponder pardoning this guy because he’s not going to be convicted of anything. However, he’s still fired and his home is still damaged.
