I think if you remove one minority group with terrible health, high obesity rates, low education and high out of wedlock births then the situation in America looks very different. 
It’s tragic but simply doesn’t apply to your average white woman who graduated college and got married before having kids.

I don’t see why it’s racist to acknowledge something that is a fact. If we can’t acknowledge this, then nothing can ever change.

It’s common sense why being married affects infant mortality. Two incomes and two people invested in the health of a baby. A man who marries a woman has a long term investment in the child. A single pregnant woman is likelier to be overweight due to poverty and have worse health outcomes. Children born from single women do worse in life by all objective measures.  [/quote]
