Most countries are either neutral or leaning Russia/China. When one country becomes the "world's policeman" it is strategically in the rest of the world's best interest to counter that power. Much of the EU might still lean US but not countries like Hungary, Italy and Greece. That makes the EU paralyzed because, structurally, they all must agree. [/quote]
