I was the original poster. These folks are right - I accidentally typed step when I meant half while referring to the kids’ ties. Kelly is not related by blood, so ex-stepmother is most accurate for his kids from his first marriage. It’s up to her and them how they wish to consider themselves. These types of relationships can be incredibly complicated. Does she consider the ex-stepchild’s baby her grandchild? Someone posted that they think she does. If so, it does actually take a big person to maintain those relationships.[/quote]
Savannah Blackstock is (was?) KC's step-daughter but that makes her definietly the half-sister of KC's minor children and Savannah's kids would be River/Remington's  (half?) niece/nephew.[/quote]
