Best bet is to drive to Baltimore or DC for a good education.
Do many students attend Baltimore or DC privates? I imagine the commute is rough.
No. Definitely not. I know kids at all the schools that have been mentioned, and only know one kid who commutes to DC, and that kid is like 4th generation or something at Gonzaga. That poster is just proving that you should never listen to DCUM on anything related to Annapolis or Anne Arundel County
Funny we live in Annapolis and know plenty of kids at DC privates and the northern Baltimore privates.
Over the years I have met / known people who lived in the northern park of AA and commuted to the Baltimore privates, including from Pasadena waterfront to St. Pauls. But it is a long and tiring commute. I don't doubt people do it but it's draining after a while and I can't imagine that many people do it. A few, sure, but come on, commuting from Annapolis to the DC privates like St. Albans or Sidwell is even worse. Might as well just go to boarding school.
Think what you want. Baltimore schools run buses to Annapolis and Plenty of kids go to both Baltimore and DC privates.
I second this. So many kids do this commute and are thrilled about their experience.
