OP is confusing conservatives with Republicans. Trump and the current Republican party/cult are not conservative and in many cases, are diametrically opposed to Conservative positions, including (but not limited to): upholding the Constitution insisting on due process and the rule of law supporting family values and holding our leaders to a higher moral standard exercising fiscal responsibility and reducing the deficit belief that strong alliances and international cooperation makes America both safer and more prosperous upholding our commitments supporting our veterans etc. As a conservative, he crossed the line for me before his first election, and many times since. I think it unlikely that Trump is a pedophile. I consider that possibility to be slightly more likely than Pizzagate, but less likely than his rumored activities with Russian prostitutes, which I have seen no evidence for and consider to most likely be fiction. Regardless, there are many more credible claims of sleazy sexual behavior, including his own claims of grabbing p**** that should make him anathema to conservatives. I also reject the Republican argument that because Democrats accepted Clinton’s sexual misconduct (which was nowhere near as egregious as Trump’s), they are hypocritical in protesting Trump’s. The question is not whether Democrats are hypocrites for complaining about Trump’s behavior, it is that Republicans are hypocrites for tolerating it. I am not okay with any federal agents doing anything to anyone without due process. Color is irrelevant. Whether someone is black, white, brown, or pea-green with purple polka dots, the Constitution guarantees that everyone is entitled to due process. If we do not hold that as an absolute that extends to everybody, we weaken it and make it possible to be refused to anyone. While I’m okay with deporting illegal immigrants (after they’ve been afforded due process), that’s not what’s happening here, and I don’t know why Democrats are accepting that terminology and using it themselves. Deportation would imply that America is putting people on buses or planes and sending them back over the border they initially crossed to enter our country, with best wishes to have a happy life - elsewhere. What we are doing is convicting people without a trial and sentencing them to life imprisonment in a foreign concentration camp. This isn’t deportation, it’s cruel and unusual punishment, human trafficking, and about 1/2 step away from slavery. South Sudan is basically at war, has a major refugee crisis, and has a history of using child soldiers - how can we not expect that any “deportees” are liable to end up as cannon fodder, if they even live that long. Trump has joked (kidded) about being able to shoot someone on 5th Avenue, he’s also said he doesn’t kid. I fully expect that sooner or later, he’s going to do it, just to prove he can.
The bolded are all things the democrats support, believe in and execute on. Just sayin'
Democrats want transgender story hour in libraries while punishing law-abiding citizens for defending themselves instead of putting criminals in jail (see, e.g. Daniel Perry). Democrats have one unifying belief, but most folks don't see it yet.
Look, you’ve been drinking the Fox News kool-aide. We get it. No one cares about drag story time. No one was forced to attend them. It was voluntary. I don’t know one person that has ever attended one, but I don’t care if they did. I am not sure why you’d care or why you think that’s its bay of your business. Also, we believe that you should d be able to sends yourself, don’t be an idiot. However, Daniel Perry deserved to go to jail. He should still be there. May he have a terrible life.
