It can lead to stroke.[/quote] I am not a doctor, but I assume the risk profile is substantially higher for an 80 year old man vs a young woman with this condition. That said, they probably have his blood thinner than rubbing alcohol, so hemorrhaging is more of a risk than clots. If he was a working class schlub, he'd probably be dead by now due lack of access to the constant monitoring and medical treatments available to the powerful and wealthy, needed to maintain his Emperor Palpatine-like existence.
