There is jewelry that dates back to the Stone Age and adornment has been part of most cultures throughout human history. It’s been a way for women to pass wealth to their daughters when they couldn’t have bank accounts, and something small enough to sew into clothes when fleeing bad times. I cherish pieces I inherited and also have sold stuff I didn’t like and paid for home renovations. I’m also coveting some Tiffany hardware but not in my budget for this year. [/quote]
