Yet another example of GOP shortsightedness and where their ideological views are stripped naked to show how they don’t make sense.  It is actually vastly more efficient and cost effective to have the federal government build, operate and manage a weather service with satellites and radars and monitors and advanced models than  to leave it to states to go off and each build their own half assed weather services 50 times over.  Vastly.  But here we are, Making America Garbage Again.[/quote]

Yes, republicans have doubled-down on the toxic individualism and fail to understand the federal government has grown to provide critical services that states and private companies won’t/can’t do. There is a reason we had a national weather service![/quote]
