It feels this way because in five months and ten days Trump has undone 249 years of democracy.

The United States has become cocky and arrogant over the past 80 years since becoming a super power at the end of WWII.  Maybe we needed a man without honor and integrity to shock us back to our senses.  Trump is base, mean, and dishonorable. He is devoid of all moral character and a code of ethics.

We need to look in a mirror and face our shame and ask ourselves how such an evil and vile glob of human blackwater waste became a hero to 49.9% of voters in 2024.
