Israel honestly can’t go much further anywhere. reservists are hurting economically and militarily and reservists are disillusioned and traumatized by their experiences in Gaza. Economically, Israel will only grow weaker the longer it keeps reservists in Gaza. Society is being shredded by this and is starting to continuing to wrestle with the fact that the ultra religious that are voting for these hard line policies are experiencing none of the ill effects. The status quo is unsustainable in the long term. And Netanyahu is corrupt and this has been well known within Israel for decades.
