I would definitely prefer to unexpectedly encounter a bear in the woods than a rowdy group of black teens/youths in Navy Yard.

Because the odds of being attacked by the black teens are much, MUCH higher than the odds of being attacked by a bear. There’s maybe a dozen bear attacks in the entire country each year. There’s sometimes that many people assaulted and/or robbed by groups of black youths in DC in just a few hours.

Does that make me racist?

And if it does make me racist, then why doesn’t “choosing the bear over a man” make a person who says that a misandrist?

Can someone explain that one?
