A perceptive comment. PP states that she has a statistical basis for preferring the bear. (Which is objectively crazy and offensive on its face.) But if we were to apply the same logic to race, given that statistically the Black share of crime is very large relative to the Black percentage of the population, we would rightfully recoil.
