Yep. I watched it to the end, mostly because of Moore. It was cliche and predictable. With that qualhogging and one kiss, somehow I knew before the ending Simone was walking away with Peter and KiKi with nothing. I was a bit surprised with Devon’s ending. I found it problematic that we got this "off her meds" stuff hammered home but they never told us exactly what that meant. Was it PTSD? Or did she have bipolar disorder like her mother and was trying to get by without medication? Or what? I remember seeing the bottle that Devon pulled out but I don't remember which drug it was (I think the label was readable though?). [/quote]
I am not sure what her real mental issue was beyond anxiety. It was her reaction at the end that made me think she suffered from some form of mental illness. The way she just flipped her script and persona as if it was nothing, NBD. It was like a game, and she won the big prize, but what exactly did she win beyond money. It was almost like she was playing house and just blocked out all the horrors and oncoming problems. The last episode was just unrealistic even for the ultra-wealthy. The way she just seamlessly slipped into KiKi's role and was accepted by everyone. [/quote]
