Are you donkeys really taking notice of the problem? I keep hearing here how 2026 is game-set-match for the democrats. Are you only paying attention to what you want? The Democrats' Problems Run Deep, Nearly Everywhere https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2025/05/25/us/politics/trump-politics-democrats.html
Trump is a cult of personality. Once he’s gone then what? Do you think your uneducated rural voters are going to wave flags for Marco Rubio? Vance? Nope. The game’s up.
Vance is a huge threat. His rags to riches story, Ivy League grad, military experience, and millennial relatability make him viable in a way that even Trump is not. I believe he’s the one who told Trump to go on Rogan’s show and get on podcasts. He’s no Mike Pence. He’s also a former Democrat and Obama voter turned Republican so he understand how to debate Democrat ideas
Disagree. He comes across as a slick huckster. For all of Trumps many faults, he’s not slick, and he’s someone a lot of people find entertaining. Vance is just a greasy opportunist, a MAGA Gavin Newsome.
But he's not Gavin Newsome, and that's the point. Vance doesn't have the political baggage. Also, he is able to turn the tables on a hostile press every time there's a gotcha moment. He doesn't shout "fake news" like Trump - instead, he cites numerous facts (from his perspective) back at the reporter, spoiling any kind of clip that could be featured in a political ad. His slickness and lack of bombast makes him far more palatable to moderates.
Doesn't have the political baggage ???? Vance is the vice president of a historically unpopular president who will be the sitting POTUS in 2028.... are you really this stupid? Ask Pence, Harris, and Mondale what it's like being the VP of one the most unpopular presidents ever!!! Mondale was as politically "slick" as anyone you've ever known but yet it doesn't matter when you're forever associated with one of our bottom three presidents. Idiiot!!!
