So they need to back it up. [/quote] The criteria for refugee status generally is persecution based on race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a group. I doubt anyone from south or central american countries is persecuted for being, for example, a Latin American Catholic with local nationality. No legal requirement to "back up" "genocide." Or any genocide requirement. [/quote] There hasn't been any compelling evidence of persecution based on race presented for the white South Africans either. They presented info that wasn't even from South Africa.[/quote]
