You think it's normal and ok for the Head of Homeland security to not have a basic understanding of what Habeas Corpus is? 8th graders learn about this. Republicans interviewed tried to claim that Habeas Corpus is not something a typical American would know.   A typical American educated in Republican run states might not know it but every one else outside of those states immediately recognize the term.

And even if she has gotten through over 50 years of life without hearing the phrase, it is now all over the news now and it involves her job.   She’s intellectually lazy.   She should have gotten a better educated colleague to teach her everything she needs to know about Habeas Corpus.  [/quote]
