When you come at people with fire, they get defensive and dish it back. It's just a race to the bottom. Call someone a Karen and tell them to "STFU" and they are very likely to make a personal insult back. It's not productive. I tell my kids that not everyone they are kind to will respond kindly, but they are more likely to get a kind response if that's the energy they put into the world. [/quote]
