I can’t speak to the am group underperforming, but it isn’t fair to compare the gold am and gold pm groups.  PM was just about all national team level swimmers and gold am has maybe 4 sectional level swimmers and has middle school kids.  There is a wide range of abilities.  It was never a true gold 1 group. For years the top TY swimmers have progressed from gold am to gold pm.  [/quote]
