I don't agree. the point of tax dollars is to educate *children* not to improve schools. Why is the focus on the school and not the children? Frankly, as a society we need to figure out what to do with the "difficult children". What we're doing now isn't working. And no, the majority of these kids do not have special needs. Difficult home lives or lack of discipline is more than likely the cause. [/quote] The point is to educate ALL children, not just the wealthy ones who can afford private school. Defunding the schools reduces the educational outcomes for children, which hurts our community. [/quote]
