Female veteran here. Military wives are incredible and should be honored. However, unless you've served in uniform, your perspective is going to be less informed than someone who actually served.  You serve an important role. But if I showed up at my doctor's office and his wife was there instead, that wouldn't be the same thing to me. I'd want the actual doctor, not his wife. [/quote]
