There have been several random sympathetic Christie Brinkley articles recently rehashing their 30 years past divorce saga.

Billy Joel had surgery a few months back and does not appear to be doing well.  He was supposed to return to touring a while back, I think March, but has cancelled months of shows to recover.  He has concerts on his schedule still for this summer starting in July, but who knows if those will be cancelled too.

It feels like, perhaps, Brinkley's PR folks are trying to get ahead of the flood of positive Billy Joel coverage and biographies, in the event Billy does not recover from surgery.[/quote]

Billy's new wife is similar in age to his daughter with Brinkley. He met her in a bar on Long Island.

Those two young kids with his newest wife are probably killing him. Can you imagine being in your 70s with toddlers? LOL[/quote]
