The female politician showing me the most by far these days - on either side of the aisle - is AOC. I hope she runs. I would vote for her in a heartbeat. You may not agree with all of her policies but no one can deny that she cares about this country and its people. And she’s a great politician.
I'm also impressed with how AOC has evolved in recent years. She's one of the few Democrats who seems to genuinely care about working and middle class Americans. And she's very sharp. If she maintains her focus, she'll go far. But she is only 35. Her time is not now. A better move for her would be to take Schumer's seat in '28. She's already far ahead in the polls for the NY Senate seat. Regarding a woman winning the presidency, if Nikki Haley had been the Republican nominee, she would have won in a Reagan-like landslide. The only thing that kept Democrats even remotely viable this last election was Donald Trump. Democrats lose because they have shit candidates and unpopular policies, not because of the gender of their politicians.
