the Democrats HATE Berne. look, the dems may have switched values/poliocy positions since they switched constituancies with the Republicans but their founder was Andrew Jackson and the party machine has never altered how it functions since the old corript tammany hall days. ask anyone who lives in IL- and the WI,MI, ohio indiana voters who are chicago adjacent.   the rebulican party took in the kkk but they were founded by lincoln (our greatest president) and they until now they ran the party along those lines. hence- when trump emerged as the voters choice they let the voters choose, when the voters started choosing bernie- the dem machine panicked. the names of the parties are the clue- R are actually very responsive to voters, D believe they are there to educate and guide the unwashed illiterati (both names are opposite of party philosophy) [/quote]
